Tropical disturbance brews in the Atlantic near Africa
A disturbance in the Central Atlantic could become the first tropical depression or storm of the season. Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- An area of low pressure about 1025 miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, near the coast of Africa, is getting stronger and could become a tropical depression in the next 24-48 hours.
