Am i suffering from teenage depression?

i havent honestly been happy in about 5 months i looked it up on the web and i am having these symptons

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION IN TEENS

Sadness or hopelessness
Irritability, anger, or hostility
Tearfulness or frequent crying
Withdrawal from friends and family
Loss of interest in activities
Feelings of worthlessness and guilt
Lack of enthusiasm and motivation

i have outbursts of crying often and i just ahhhhhh i dunno

I cannot say you are depressed or not, but I would highly recommend you going to your doctor to talk about this. these symptoms usually mean someone has depression or some other medical problem. also having these symptoms is no fun at all, I have a lot of experience with what you are feeling and it dramatically affected my life. definitely go see your normal doctor and then he may recommend some psychologists or psychiatrists to go talk to. Just remember that there is nothing wrong with going and talking to a psychologist, and the first step, going to your doctor, is the hardest. also remember that dealing with depression or other related illnesses takes a while, there is not a miracle drug that makes you happy all of a sudden. It is gradual, but totally worth it when you start feeling like your old self again. I wish the best for you and hope you take that first step for yourself.

If you have depression, you need to see a psychologist or psychiatrist. It is very important to see someone. A psychologist will help you to change the way you think and overcome the depression in that way. A psychiatrist may do that too, but will nearly always give drugs as well as counselling, behaviour therapy or some other talk therapy. you need a referal from a doctor to a psychiatrist, but you usually don't need one to a psychologist. A doctor may be able to suggest a suitable one. Make sure that if you go to a psychologist that he or she is a registered clinical psychologist.

Some people worry about seeing such people, but the worry is if you don't, you could become worse. these people will help you to get better. you wouldn't let any other illness go on for five months without seeking help.

i have had the same symptoms as you for roughly the same amount of time. Apparently it's called Seasonal Affective Disorder and usually occurs in the winter. however, thousands of people are suffering earlier this year because the climate is so messed up. This is called Reverse Seasonal Effective Disorder.
Symptoms include.
Sleep problems: usually desire to oversleep and difficulty staying awake but, in some cases, disturbed sleep and early morning wakening
Lethargy: Feeling of fatigue and inability to carry out normal routine
Overeating: Craving for carbohydrates and sweet foods, usually resulting in weight gain
Depression: Feelings of misery, guilt and loss of self-esteem, sometimes hopelessness and despair, sometimes apathy and loss of feelings
Social problems: Irritability and desire to avoid social contact
Anxiety: Tension and inability to tolerate stress
Loss of libido Decreased interest in sex and physical contact
Mood changes In some sufferers, extremes of mood and short periods of hypomania (overactivity) in spring and autumn.

There are available treatments but you need to visit your doctor for these. Good Luck!

I can tell you that I'm having some of those symptoms you listed. Here's is my advice though, don''t let loneliness or whatever negative you're experiencing get the best of you. Always pray. perhaps something is happening to you right now. probably, you're faced with the most emotionally challenging moment of your life. Don't give up. Everything will pass, nothing will last.

I sometimes also have the same symptoms as yours. I suggest that you talk to somebody who understands you. That's what my college counselor said: talk to somebody who won't make you feel down. Don't talk to people who criticize you and try to bring you down. Criticism can be good, but not when you are already as depressed as that.

Oh dear. Firstly, are you getting much sleep? This is the best thing for clearing the mind. A tired mind cannot focus and think properly. also, what you eat can affect your brain. Stay away from greasy foods. and maybe, if you are up to it, see a counselor.

yea maby you are---
depression is a horrible thing,,my bf suffers from it...
the best thing to do is talk to someone about because its not nice been like that and there are people out there who can help you ...

    There is no good luck.
頑張って 「がんばって」 is to tell someone to do their best.
You respond with 頑張ります 「がんばります」which tells them that you will do your best.

It applies to singers, dancers and actors. Only use good luck for sports.
