Can I file for mental disability for severe depression?

I am currently struggling with severe depression/suicide and it's too stressful to deal with on top of school work and my part-time job. Do I qualify for it? how do I go about filing for it?

yes you can just contact your local job center or get their number explain how u are feeling and do the same with your gp and ask him for a sick note as you will probably qualify for statury sick pay i hope that helps and i hope u feel well soon

I would recommend trying to keep either the job or the classes. If you quit everything, it's really easy to quit trying and stay at home all the time. If you can keep taking at least one class, you'll have a reason to get out of bed a couple times a week and a sense of accomplishment when you finish.
