Depression……what are some symptoms of it?

loss of interest in doing the things i once enjoyed?
not sleeping good
very moody at times

Important to remember everyone's moods go up and down from time to time. If a depressed state seems to be persisting, do your best to talk to someone about it or at least write down how you are feeling. Don't make big decisions while in this state, defer them until you feel 'normal' again, which you will. Also, exercise is a great therapy. If you don't feel up to going outside, do something inside to raise your pulse rate and work up a sweat. the endorphines will work wonders on your mood. Don't believe the feeling that you are the only one going through it and please don't ignore thoughts of suicide. Talk to someone, even an 800 number. outside perspectives can bring you back to center.
Never underestimate the power of a nap!

Here is a short summary on depression published in the Arizona Replubic (Phoenis) newspaper recently.
