Do these symptoms sound more like; Anxiety, Depression, Stress, all three combinded or something else?

hyperactive with fast talking (as opposed to sluggish and down), easily stressed over very small things, low attention span, obsessive over detail and always checking things, shy and not wanting to make eye contact with people anymore, permanent dark circles under the eyes, constant shaking, low weight, high metabolism (probably due to worry), poor 'unrefreshing' sleep, poor appetite, emetophobia (fear of nausea/vomiting including paranoia about whether or not someone has "tampered" with food and drink), poor hygiene and not wanting to bother with physical appearance, inablility to "switch-off" or calm down EVER and an overall feeling that you want to just get each day over with. If it's mainly a depression, I would like to know if any of you who have been prescribed different antidepressants know of one that is an excellent choice for these symptoms.

bipolar,
from the hyperactivity
to the paranoia

over active thyroid or over active adrenals. get your adrenals checked immediately!

i whould say all three and i know from experence the best way to stop it is to say at least 5 possitive thing at the moment your stressing out or freaking out.

Sounds like a combination of depression, bi-polar and OCD.

Anxiety and obssessive behaviour induced depression...i have had all the above symptoms and i saw a specialist pshychiatrist and had medication...you need to take action ar things will get a lot worse...i almost lost everyone i care about because of this!

im not even going to read your whole question because anxiety, depression, and stress do not exist. those 3 things are all apart of your imagination. if you dont want to be depressed you dont have to be. if you dont want to be stressed have fun.

these three things are made up but money hungry medication distributers.

I definitely think the person should ask for a psychiatric referral. Suggesting medications, though, that's for the MD's. Anyway, what I've read there's no magic that tells a doctor this pill will work with this patient and this one with that patient. but something is better than nothing and it might take trial and error. even then the efficacy ofthe pills seems to decline over time and you have to try something new to fight the symptoms.

sounds like an anxiety disorder which is tied to both depression & stress. agoraphobia also seems to be a problem since you do not want to make eye contact w. other ppl. i would see a psychiatrist to figure it out for sure but dont just jump on any medication they try to put you on, especially effexor.. it is very very hard to get off of it once you are on. i take xanax for my panic attacks & it helps immensly. i hope this helps & i wish you the best of luck!!

If you don't work on your sanity, it's easy to get lost.
And yet, you are here.

Be here now and all this will correct itself. Be OK with what is.

Return again and again to experiencing being here now and quite soon it will all clear up.

My words are simple but effective. can you wisely use them?

anxiety

I take Celexa for anxiety attacks. I tried Paxil and it made me depressed. I tried another one (Can't recall the name) and it made my muscles tense and clench my teeth until my jaw hurt. then came the Celexa (generic brand) and success. Don't give up if the first one doesn't work. Keep trying. different drugs work differently in different people. and it takes up to 2 weeks to feel anything sometimes. I felt it at 1 week, but everyone is different.

i know this may sound silly but science is proving that there is a chemical in the heart that can be released to give a feeling of serenity when a person is making healthy and wise choices (listening to there heart) . so basically when a person isn't comfortable with choices there is a very high level of anxiety . i think it's important to keep in mind the stress that can be self induced when a person is MADE TO FEEL like all there choices are wrong by others , usually this can be the case of people who "love" you the most , parents , lover etc. you see , your body possesses the chemical makeup to balance itself out provided one eats healthy and lives in a healthy emotional enviorment ....

I think you should find a pychiatrist who has a background and knowledge about all syptomologies and can diagnose. It sounds like obsessive-compulsive disorder, and an anxiety dis-order that usually go together and is completely treatable. It makes sense because all the rest of the symptoms are natural results of this. It could be something more serious like schizoprenia, which is the suffering you describe. the good news is that there is such incredible medications available that there is an excellent chance that everything will be solved with the right doseage of the right med. but a doctor needs to be called on this.

sounds like anorexia, ocd, and add
