Do you think that society/culture is helping to create manic-depression?

What I mean is that more and more people are diagnosed with this mental health issue. was it called something else in the past? Maybe, the current culture or society is creating this dilemma for many people.

I agree, today's society is crap. I don't know if it can be fixed or ignored but I've always wanted to escape it completely. I've wanted to move to the mountains, be a free man. I'm a nature guy, anything is better than obeying society.

    It is but it should not. Mental health should be dealt with in the field of Psychiatry.
