Wow! She likes her food salty. Maybe she's got low blood pressure. I have, and I increased my salt and feel better, but I don't like that much salt. We don't do this dish in the UK, but it looks great and I'm going to cook it tomorrow night. Go Clara!
My mom used to make a different version; she would add onions(my favorite) & small pieces of ham!yum!
Who elses mouth is watering ?
Who does all of your video editing because it is done very nicely and i was wondering the software u use
i love peppers and eggs they r sooo good keep up the good work clara. ^_^
Cool video, looks really good. I wish she'd invite me to lunch.
Her nails are perfect!
I adore these videos. Clara is awesome.
It's interesting she mentions this time why she never uses a cutting board. I've seen her cutting vegs in her hands before, and thought if I tried it I'd be a sliced up mess. She did use a cutting board to cut the hotdogs in "Poorman's Feast."
My kinda women I luv salt too!
@MenOfMischief HM, I think with her shaky old hands even a sharp knife might not cut easily through the things she's cutting. Another possibility is the dull knife won't cut her tender skin if she does slip, her grip probably isn't what it was when she was young, i know even with sharp knives my great gram sometimes has a hard time cutting some foods, and shes about 20 years younger than Ms. Clara.
I'm making peppers and eggs right now as I type. The only thing I do differently is that I use green peppers (red and yellow peppers are more expensive), and I use egg substitutes (egg beaters) to cut down on the cholesterol content.
I'm sure this lady's peppers and eggs are very good, but I really think that she should use a cutting board. The way she is carving the peppers is dangerous!
This woman is adorable, and whoever claims her as their grandmother is so lucky!
Some of those seed will turn into a plant as long as the conditions are right. It will take a lot longer and you are wasting seeds though.
Michaelnrdx: if you can criticize this lady you have issues.
@michaelnrdx. you're stupid
i never met meh grampa, apparently my father's father was a bumn of a man that ran off somewhere but me mummy's pa saved me from a snake when i was a baby, he grabbed it with his hands tossed it away and killed it with his boots, ironically they were made from snake
true story
appearently they grow year round as long as there is no frost, my question, if i plant a whole bell pepper.... will it grow?????
thats why she said they were done silly!
oh yeah, pepper and egg sandwiches. very old school. dose mine with some locatelli.
Peppers were burnt.
I never thought to plant the seeds. Probably because it isn't hot enough where I live.
God bless you clara, you remind me so much of my great grandfather:) He was such a great man!
I will definately try this recipe Yummy:)
3:22 lol ,weird...
I LOVE this and make it quite often. Usually add some onion if I have it.
