why havent clara done more videos is she ok?
why is this thumbsed down so much? I dont get it.
Clara. You're a great storyteller and you've got a great sense of humor. It's so interesting to hear from previous generations about what happened and how things have come to be today because of the past. Too bad a lot of today's generation isn't interested....it's sad to think how shallow things have become in our lives.
Since when did it become vogue to waste,....great job, you're an example to the rest of us, God bless ya Clara!! = )
God bless my dear. In an evil time of money printing where the government is going to fail us all. I'll be humble, eat simple foods and live in the knowledge that we'll all make it through this. Be well. ps. USA Stop buying foreign goods!
what a wonderful lady.
!YAY! i watched Clara at school today
WE LOVE YOU!!!!!! <3
clara is youtubes number 1 grandma
My mom cooked depression foods too and shared with the neighborhood. She made kidney stew, chicken popeye(pot pie) that was made with homemade dough and then rolled out into a wide "noodle". I'm sure you make that too
I still watch your videos and can't get enough of them. I wish you were my grammy
why is it that yeller [yellow] is for cowardice
Love your videos, your so cute and funny.
Clara, your a star.
Thank You.
It was a SIN to throw away bread. So when scraps were thrown away or a piece of bread fell on the floor by accident my Grandmother Marianna Arena DiFilippi (who also had gleaming white teeth, just like Clara)would "Kiss it up to God"to ask forgivness.
Clara, YOU HAVE SHINING GREAT TEETH!
A proof you have been eating good and healthy food.
I wish I could be like you when I'm in ninety. It must take a lot of practice and great intelligence. I wish I could be near your so that I could learn from you directly.
When someone was new on the job they were often referded to as green. It comes from farming , as in not ripe still to green to pick.. so she was green (new) on the job but she marked her work with a yellow marker
Clara, the house next door to us is for sale, please come move in!! Video treasure here. Besides the wonder that is Clara, it's so fun to check out the cozy kitchen and all of its pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Fact: Rice Krispies at home, meh. Rice Krispies at Grandma's=magic!!! Can't wait till dandelion time rolls around again...
She said "green," meaning inexperienced.
definately Italian.
She was green like a rookie on the job. Mean boss
Russian, I think.
agreed I don't think its possible but i could happen
she looks so fit for a 93 year old she looks 70
Why did her boss yell at her? Did she say green or Greek? I couldn't tell.
It was a general comment about a majority of the population. There are many , like you, who do appreciate the basic and simple basics of life because you have experienced them in your upbringing. You grew up with an appreciation towards life. Most of the people I know who say they grew up "poor" have a better understanding and respect for their fellow man. They are more generous towards others which the 'spoiled' have no clue about. Been there
Add some Parm Cheese on it. It's actually really delicious.
