Clara is awesome!! I am fortunate to have a Grandma like her. This makes me realize how great she really is. God Bless you, Clara!
Grandmother's are clutch cargo ... the best
wow I didn' t know they had cookies for breakfast! It makes sense though....
my dad always dipped bisquits in coffee and ate them. you are cute and I love this series so much! They ground coffee?! wow
Really well done, I like your way of cooking.
Hmmm... this doesn't seem like depression cooking... Someone to stay home to prepare fresh cookies, fresh coffee, etc. That was their depression!! Ours is: Eating msg laden foods, everything with preservatives, and the only way to get fresh, organic food is to pay a ridiculous amount!! in this day n age, we can only wish we had our own garden!
I remember my grandfather taking us camping and making coffee exactly this way...best coffee I've ever had. Forget starbucks!
@MrAndrewdaily Great gramma, but yeah she is
my great gram is 20 years younger than clara and already getting super forgetful and slightly batty
i love clara!
We used to go to Geneva-On-The-Lake when we were children.
Love your video's, brings back lots of happy memories for me.
Clara, you are wonderful - thank you so much. I love your videos. God bless you. Geena, New Zealand
I feel like crying..Mom talked of the depression too..It was so hard on them..They would stay up all night in the field and protect their crops..Clara what a wonderful way to share with us the generation of plenty what times may be like in the future..
Woah she's fit for a 93 year old!!!
Thank you very much for sharing! I just can't help but adore you.
Hugs!

Clara, I wanted you to know that I've used your videos in teaching my sixth grade students about the Depression. They love you. Many of them have made your recipes and brought them to share with the other students. (Oh, and I have to say that I'm using my daughter's sign-in...I'm not a vegi vampire...). Thanks for making the beautiful videos!
