    Hmmm... this doesn't seem like depression cooking... Someone to stay home to prepare fresh cookies, fresh coffee, etc. That was their depression!! Ours is: Eating msg laden foods, everything with preservatives, and the only way to get fresh, organic food is to pay a ridiculous amount!! in this day n age, we can only wish we had our own garden!

    I feel like crying..Mom talked of the depression too..It was so hard on them..They would stay up all night in the field and protect their crops..Clara what a wonderful way to share with us the generation of plenty what times may be like in the future..
