My boyfriend has a serious thing about his weight, he thinks he's fat, but I've been watching his eating habits, he'll only have one thing a day, like a cereal bar made from oats or a handful of these little cheese shape things, he doesn't seem to drink much, but when he does it's only really fizzy stuff.
I've tried to get him to eat regularly but he doesn't. he is on medication for manic depression, I'm not sure if that would do it, his Mum is big too.
you are suppost to eat every 2 hrs. when you dont your body stores fats.
there are a lot of things it could be. his meds could cause weight gain. he could be in starvation mode because hes not eating enough calories or it could be from the sugary drinks he drinks.
well genetics may play a part in this, some people are naturally born with more fat cells then others. if he wants to lose weight he has to burn more calories then he consumes. just do some light jogging every day or some form of physical activity, it would be nice if he ate throughout the day and eating in the morning is quite important because it increases your metabolism. I would suggest eating an apple in the morning because it doesnt have many calories and gives u more energy then a cup of coffee.
When people don't eat enough, their body begins to save up fat, because it thinks it's food source is in jeopardy. It's also common for the individual to become lazy, because their body doesn't want to use excess energy.
well i think the reason why is because they don't move there body as much and not doing any exercise so all the food they ate just stays there in there tummy.....
How can someone be "fat" when they eat hardly anything?

Playing the strength training and conditioning sections of Wii Fit would be considered physical activity.
