I am 16 and I have diagnosed myself as depressed. I am tired all of the time. I have no medication for really anything anymore. I am a huge fighter. I argue with everyone. Mostly my family these days. the only time I feel really happy is when I am alone in my room listening to music and sometimes that doesn't even work. I don't like talking to my friends and I usually want to be alone. help me.
Medication might not be the only solution. I know quite a few people are against therapy, but it's great to have someone to talk to who will not judge you for your thoughts or actions. If you really feel bad enough to want medicine then you will have to go to a psychiatrist, who will listen to what you feel you need and prescribe meds based on that information. Just keep in mind that medications aren't just suddenly going to necessarily make you feel better all of a sudden. With most meds you have to work with them in trying to make yourself feel better.
Good luck and I am sorry for what you have to go through
Self-diagnosis is not enough. you really need to have the diagnosis confirmed by a professional.
Based on what you have said in this question, you sound like a normal, angsty teen. I am not saying you do not have depression, it's just that you've given no more than a few little bits and pieces of standard teen behaviour as evidence.
You need a doctor to diagnose a condition. Then, depending on the type of condition, they may recommend either a clinical or cognitive therapy, or a mix of both.
Opiates and weed.
How do I receive depression medication?
