I got a 76 out of 100 on an online depression test?

It seems pretty legit to me.
Queendom.com (around 100 questions)

Unfortunately unless I want to know more how bad 76/100 is, I would have to pay. so would this score be sever depression? I've always wanted to go to a doctor but my parents won't let me because they believe that the reason I am a failure is because I'm trying to make them mad on purpose. No one in my family will help me out. Should I wait until i'm an legal adult or continue my pessimistic life?

Your parents can't technically stop you from going to the doctor, unless you're extremely young.
Start by talking to the counselor at your school, and they can (if they feel it's necessary), give you a referral to a doctor. They can (if necessary), make it a mandatory referral, as in, you can't return to school or whatever until you've seen the doctor. Counselors also cannot legally divulge to your parents what they discussed with you, so it is a relatively safe option for you to pursue.

Otherwise, if a school counselor isn't an option, make up a physical ailment (migraine headaches, rash/inflamed skin, etc.) that will get your parents to schedule you an appointment with your doctor or pediatrician. these doctors are also not allowed to tell your parents what's discussed, so when you see your doctor, tell them about how you think you're depressed but your parents are preventing you from getting help.
They will be able to direct you to resources or possibly refer you elsewhere, without getting your parents involved.

The fact that you took an online depression test to find out whether you were depressed without being able to figure it out for yourself, does not necessarily mean you have depression, but it does mean you have a mental disorder.

Take this test instead- it's a lot more accurate because it tells you what kind of depression you may have. (eg. Bipolar, Chronic, etc)

I found it really good anyhoo.

if your worried go to the doctor.

think possitive, stay busy, dont lable yourself

I would not pay. You sound like your at school right? surely you can go and see a free counsellor, I would be surprised if you couldn't. You will be able to get some professional advice about how to cope and conquer your depression. make sure you get enough exercise, and spend time with your friends and family. take omega 3-6-9 supplements, write in a diary, listened to spirit filled Christian music. all these things will help in dealing. But you need to talk to a professional, and there is nothing wrong with that! recent studies estimate that 51 % of the population will develop a psychiatric disorder at some point in their lives, Im inclined to think its actually much more then this, but anyway. The point is there is a reason why we have counsellors in every primary school, high school, college, university, tafe, some workplaces. Then take into consideration all the counsellors, psychiatrists, psychologists and all the specialised streams inbetween, available to the public. its perfectly normal to seek help from a counsellor, honestly :)
I would also read this, it can be really helpful to understand exactly what is going on, it may help with dealing with your depression :) http://www.psychologyinfo.com/depression…
but be sure to see a counsellor :)
