I took an online psychology test and I got these results: panic disorder, major depressive disorder, manic espisodes, I have some symptoms of bipolar disorder, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorder.
I have suffered from panic disorders, depression, stress, and social phobia. I am still suffering from panic attacks. well I want to go to a therapist, but I am scared to tell my therapist some things, such as having sex with a 20 year old guy, when I am only 16. I don't want to send him to prison, we had some problems and I always tell him that he uses me for sex. and I want my therapist to help me to get these things out of my head. Possibly if I can convince him to go to therapy with me, then I will go with him. we are having a lot of physical fights and I really want to fix up our relationship and my life without having him get in trouble. Will my therapist keep it a secret or do they HAVE TO tell the police?
a therapist will never betray ur trust. they are there for you to confide in and help your problems. have no fear and speak your mind and theyll help you be better
if your sleeping with a twenty year old guy that hits you then he is just using you for sex.
A therapist may help you figure out why you feel that your situation is ok.
The world is large and there are many other men in it that are much better.
The sooner you move on the better.
A therapist is legally required to report if you tell them you have a plan to harm yourself or others. Just wanting to kill yourself isn't enough but if you know how and when you plan to do it then it needs to be reported. Just wanting to lash out at others doesn't need to be reported but if you have a plan; for example you tell him you plan to shoot people in your first period class tomorrow with the gun you just bought then he needs to report it.
Otherwise they have a responsibility to keep everything secret, everything.
of course it'll stay secret! its part of their job else no one would visit a therapist
If I go to therapy will it remain a secret?
