all i heard was "...hurls balls at you at 90 mph"
hostile, moronic, tactless interviewer.
leonard cohen is THE greatest songwriter of all time including lenon
@patykiewicz the interviewer is Valerie Pringle, well respected by Cohen and other Canadian artists and well known to Canadians. She is welcomed into Canadian artists lives and lives among them. It is a different, more casual approach than the Barbara Walters "if you were a tree" questions, and she is a personal friend of Cohens.

Outstanding! Thank you for posting this!
Holy shit... Watching this video right after an interview from 1966, holy fucking shit this interviewer is an IDIOT and seems incapable of listening.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh VHS static!!!! I for one don't miss the age of analogue.
what a fucking bitch!!!
Cohen is refreshingly honest in this interview. Would love to step inside his mind for a day.

Fucking bitch. Do not trash or give attitude to leonard cohen ever or i will phisically disfigure you.
I think people are responding to the interviewer's grating voice and perky TV manner more than the substance. I think she does fine. Her questions elicit revealing and thoughtful answers from him, and that's an interviewer's job - not to sound like a philosopher.
His comments on depression and artistry are moving and very useful for someone who has tried off and on to be an artist and also struggled off and on with depression.
I don't think she know who he is, she's asking Britney Spears questions... please stop.
It´s interesting who he keeps the balance, I expected him to cancel the interview as soon as she begins to open her mouth!
she and lenoard cohen are on a completely different level in this interview. it would be infuriating if it weren't so funny.
Haha cohen with beard
God she is aweful, I can't stand her, very condescending
give me leonard cohen afterworld. so i can sigh eternally
What a beautiful guy.
I like the interview. She's not intimidated by him and it seems he's very appreciative of her and what she's asking.
i HATE this interviewer
that interviewer is the definition of bitch
do not decode these cries of mine, they are the road and not the sign
Bunch of blond bitch haters!
i'm buying the book of longing tomorrow, i just need to after watching lc vids tonight

I define mental illness as the phenomenon of one's thoughts / thought process causing behavioral abnormalities.
