  3. nintendonut100 says:

leonard cohen is THE greatest songwriter of all time including lenon

  4. dralaterdzo says:

@patykiewicz the interviewer is Valerie Pringle, well respected by Cohen and other Canadian artists and well known to Canadians. She is welcomed into Canadian artists lives and lives among them. It is a different, more casual approach than the Barbara Walters "if you were a tree" questions, and she is a personal friend of Cohens.

I think people are responding to the interviewer's grating voice and perky TV manner more than the substance. I think she does fine. Her questions elicit revealing and thoughtful answers from him, and that's an interviewer's job - not to sound like a philosopher.

His comments on depression and artistry are moving and very useful for someone who has tried off and on to be an artist and also struggled off and on with depression.

  14. zerojazdy says:

I don't think she know who he is, she's asking Britney Spears questions... please stop.
