Indeed Gerald is telling the truth I go out everyday and talk to owners of businesses and try selling them advertising or anything which is an indicator of where we stand, No money, were broke
I have faith in human spirit that we will overcome, but we need serious innovation. Price correction isn't bad for human race. Recession or depression is a nasty word, but ultimately all it means is it's in a reallocation of goods and services away from luxury and towards necessities. Businesses that provide luxury may go bankrupt, then the resources and employees will go elsewhere if they can provide value and contribute to providing necessities of life more efficiently and effectively

Yes, very true. I have been in retail management since 1993 and have never seen it this bad. This Christmas season will be worse than last years season.....so there will be another wave of retailers going out of business. Unemployment is higher, so this season will be worse! I keep seeing more and more shops going under. Gerald is awe some! Thankfully there are a few people who speak the truth!

The only crazy thing is that when they showed some parts of NYC the World Trade Center hasn't even been? built yet until the year after this show.
GC gave a good talk on here, especially on 2 things: One, individuals taking sup-prime mortgages are far from the biggest culprits, it's those financial institutions who caused this real estate bubble. Two, despite the repeated mantra by conservatives, neo & pseudo alike, this country is headed towards fascism, not socialism, as GC explained, "only the wealthy are being bailed-out, not the common person". Those who think otherwise are engaging in willful & dedicated ignorance.

The Houston Market is not doing good, its going into the gutter. people are having major job losses and layoffs here in town and dozens of homes per day forclose. Just do more research. Business is bad in town. The resutarants are not booming much and thier sales are down and more people are eating at Mcdonanlds because they cant afford a good meal. The fake gas increase is up again and burning or pockets. GERALD CELENTE IS RIGHT ON THE MONEY and i think its going to be alot worst that that.
Okay, lets look at houston since i work in the Insurance Business. Homes forclosing by the dozens all over the city and shopping centers and building are forclosing but at the same time the media is reporting that Houston is booming. I can tell you first hand since i hang out with the brokers and the fact that the mortgagee companys are not paying the insurance comps and causing delay on our comissions. So dont start the nonsense, You are not talking to people. You must be a doctor.
A shopping center near where I live has been having a major overhall and expansion (still not finished)) + the office block where I work is about to have a major overall, starting November 2009 - both I assume are and will cost $millions.
So why would the mall and office building owner's I work in spend this kind of money, if it's only going to get worse in commercial real estate?
I do agree with a lot of GC is saying though and I think people need to take heed.
Why will the 'super depression' happen in 2012? Why not in 2009-2010?
