Centenarian touched many lives
Wednesday afternoon the walls of Second Baptist Church echoed with the baritone voice of the Rev. Clyde Ruffin. “They tell me that in 1904 the average life expectancy was 47 years in the United States,” the pastor told the crowd. “But he lived to be 106. Why? Because God is faithful.”
