it can lower libido and cause diarrhea. some cause drowsiness, but most of these symptoms go away with time.
I agree with TK2, and in addition there may be a placebo effect, which is nice.
Make sure to read the label! many antidepressants have interactions with alcohol.
some make you drowsy
some make it very hard to go to sleep
some make your appetite go away
every one has different side effects
and they affect everyone differently
