What mental illness do i have?

Ok well my friend has a mental illness so i started looking mental illnesses up. I came to a test so i took the test I got quite high results so i took a few more test. Then i looked at the symptoms i have auditory delusions. And i always feel like im being watched and people are planning to kill me. Yesterday i was sat on my bed brushing my hair and I felt a hand touch mine but I looked around me and nothing was there PLEASE help me :/

Borderline Personality Disorder

My mental illness is...Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), A person with a borderline personality disorder often experiences a repetitive pattern of disorganization and instability in self-image, mood, behavior and close personal relationships. this can cause significant distress or impairment in friendships and work. A person with this disorder can often be bright and intelligent, and appear warm, friendly and competent. They sometimes can maintain this appearance for a number of years until their defense structure crumbles, usually around a stressful situation like the breakup of a romantic relationship or the death of a parent.

Self-assessments mean almost nothing. Professionals use them to determine the most likely underlying problem, but the tests in themselves are nearly meaningless. as is input from a public internet messageboard.

Seek a face-to-face meeting with a professional. If you do have a mental illness you deserve the best care available, we the internet is not it.

It does sound like you have Bpd there are therapy's and you can see your gp he may put you on medication and send you on a program desgined to help you function with it They try and not use medications where possible so will minimise them but lots of people with Bpd recover and learn to control it ,DBT therapy may also help you.

As a psychologist I cannot agree with Chris P enough, forget the self testing it's meaningless, get professional advice.
