What's it like to be tested for teen depression at the doctors?

I think that I may have depression (i'm a teen) and I am going to talk to my mom about it and see if I can go get tested for teen depression. I was wondering what it was like, what the doctor does, and if they have to do any blood drawing? Thanks in advance and happy newyears.

no need to worry, no blood tests i was terrified that I would need to seek medical testing for a diagnosis. I spoke with a psychologist for a few weeks, and later a psychiatrist for medication. You get diagnosed on what you tell the doctors, and the way they perceive you. Good luck
