Where can I find a good article on dog depression….?

I need an article on Dog Depression that states what the symptoms are and what can come with depression if it is left untreated. I believe my dog may have depression, and I am unsure of what could happen if I don't do anything about it....

Try calling the vet and ask them about the symptoms. it may not be depression after all.

Your dog is NOT suffering from depression! tell us what's going on so we can be in a better position to help. till then, don't waste money on drugs or other therapies.

And that article on dog depression is rubbish. And if you read that article and do what the author recommends, your dog will never recover...that's guaranteed. Consoling or comforting a dog during what might be perceived as ANYTHING abnormal simply tells the dog it's OK to act that way. do yourself a favor and tell us what's going on. a dog

oh god PLEASE don't buy into this hype. Chemical depression is caused by too little or too much of a neurotransmitter usually seratonin. DOGS DO NOT HAVE THIS! some vet's are preying upon people and taking advantage of this and even going as far to prescribe dog's zoloft. It's all about money. your dog might have seperation anxiety.

  1. Whether it's "s/he has depression" or "s/he is suffering from depression", in the end all it means is that you wasted five points on a question that no one understands.
